In the darkest days of fighting the inviable killer, Poison the Vicar has been a pulsing light in Shanghai’s growing Goth scene. Poison the Vicar is not afraid of traversing all the dark realms the sound. Taking inspiration from EBM, industrial, Italo, post-punk and anything that reminds you of the haunted past and unfulfilled future.

Necrotic Pose is the debut album Poison the Vicar has crafted over the last year. “The reflection in the mirror calls back to you with word you didn’t know you needed to hear. This album is just like that, finding a voice for the thing I needed to hear myself say.” Beholden to no particular genre at a time the album give the listener an emotional ride with big beat scattered with textual ear candy and bayonetting basslines.
